Indeed they are my sweet loves...

YA MOI

90's my ass ma'fucker

This shits crap NZ does way better versions of 90's grunge. Think Stolen girlfriends, Lonley hearts and Zippora Seven.

Stupid Americans.

Too clean , looks like the old lady stylish section of Ezibuy mailout.

Roses

Roses are probably my favourite thing other than Hip hop, Sex and Violence.

Lets glorify addiction shall we??

Lets not. This editorial hits all the wrong spots. Not only do I not want to see skeletal models in my eyeballs all the time, but I don't want to know how they get this way. This shows a terrible image of the body to the public and glamorizes; alcoholism, mental illness and eating disorders. This is about as gross as the 'holocaust inspired' RUSH editorial at the end of last months issue.

How about we do NOT promote; smoking, drinking and drugging your life away equals cool? I'm not bloody christian, thats for DAMN sure but give me some light in my life, for heavens sake. No thank you. I don't want to revel in the shit of this world. If you cannot think of any more fashion inspiration than people suffering then give the fuck up.

'Meisel does rehab' -descibed as a timeless editorial. Ughh. Get lost mate. Vogue I'm pissed.

Yes, of course... some of the images are beautiful. Its Meisel for Vogue of course it is. But still....

WOW

This takes the cake of post of the day I think. Tell me what you think?

I especially love the last one and the 'I am' one. They seem inspired by war medals I love the antiquing done on them. Also a great range of pendants. If only I could afford on my tiny wage. For American residents they are actually rather affordable!!

Sailor boy.

Quoted from www.flickr.com  This old school flash is my kind of style.

"Sailor Jerry was tagged with the name Norman Collins at birth, but he began to distance himself from normalcy when he was 19 (that's why he became a sailor). He traveled around the world, not only getting his first tattoos, but also gaining exposure to the art and imagery of Southeast Asia. This later became a crucial influence when he opened his first tattoo shop in Honolulu's Chinatown, ground zero for swaggering sailors, drunken soldiers and whoever else wasn't afraid to hang around volatile levels of testosterone.

The Honolulu Tattoo district was designed to accommodate a time in men's lives when they drank heavily, paid for women, and imprinted their biceps with pictures solid and resonant enough to last a lifetime. Back then, Chinatown was the only place on the island where a man could get a tattoo, creating fierce competition among the many tattoo parlors.
Roving sailors weren't looking at the nuances of shading and color, they were seeking pictures worth showing off to their buddies back home. Sailor Jerry built his business with bold designs that artfully expressed the mind set of his clientele. When you look at Sailor Jerry's "flash", it's immediately apparent why he spawned the kind of following that made it necessary to begin printing "The Original Sailor Jerry" on all his business cards. This is man stuff. Filled with the grit, romance and heartbreak that drives some men to do what most would not. There's a tension about port cities filled with men who consider themselves on a mission to have a good time and return with evidence of such. And it's drawn into all of Sailor Jerry's tattoos. Keep your eyes out for his work, not in galleries, but in bars and on the street. If you find yourself strangely captivated by the girl on an old man's arm, we suggest you go ahead and offer to buy the guy a drink of Sailor Jerry Navy Rum. Hopefully, he'll be so impressed with your taste in rum, he won't punch you out and maybe he'll tell you some stories.
Here is some of the tattoo flashes done by Sailor Jerry. To see more of Sailor Jerry’s stuff you can go to www.sailorjerry.com"

Heres hoping I don't have a baby like dis.

Good stuff

"Could you wear the same outfit everyday for a year? Well, Sheena Matheiken is doing the unthinkable for a worthy cause.

She will don the same dress (don’t fret germafreaks she has multiples like Superman) for a full year. The challenge is for the charming fashion imp to rework the same black tunic dress into a different chic ensemb each day with vintage and donated accessories.

Matheiken’s penchant towards uniforms stems from her upbringing in India where peers showed their unique style by pushing the limits of their required school uniforms." (http://www.dripbook.com/)

All for funding for Indian schooling. What a good bitch.
